Sefton High Performance Home
Clive and Karen wanted to build a warm, dry, energy efficient home, with predictable energy costs to retire into. Their charming country, character style home sits atop a hill in rural North Canterbury. What makes this home really special is largely unseen: an insulated slab, uPVC recessed joinery, 185mm insulated walls, airtight membrane and a Wolf heat recovery ventilation system.

So how do you know you are getting what you paid for? We have assembled a dream team- an experienced Passive House designer, engineer and MVHR specialist. We also use local suppliers and sub-trades who have lots of experience with us on Passive House projects. Projects are energy modelled in design stage, and reviewed during construction. Blower door tests are used to measure airtightness. And Certification provides an independent, third-party review, it is the assurance that you get the home you paid for.
