Beautiful ultra-energy efficient home (certified Passive House Plus) delivers on superior health and comfort. Located in the stunning Bushland Park, this home was cleverly designed to maximise space and encourage seamless indoor-outdoor living. There was a focus on natural, local products. The wool for the insulation came from the sheep grazing in the next door paddock, the triple glazed windows and doors were manufactured in Christchurch, and the home is clad in Abodo heat treated timber. Inside, Primestone engineered stone work benches, polished concrete hand basins, tiled bathrooms, engineered oak flooring and wool carpets, and natural paint throughout.

We also use local suppliers and sub-trades who have lots of experience with us on Passive House projects. Projects are energy modelled in design stage, and reviewed during construction. Blower door tests are used to measure airtightness. And Certification provides an independent, third-party review, it is the assurance that you get the home you paid for.
